Family Camp 2024

Family Camp – 12th to 14th July 2024Join us at Bibby’s Farm Scout Camp, Chorley.

Our annual Family Scout Camp will happen between the 12th and 14th of July, at Bibby’s Farm Scout Camp. The Family Camp is the opportunity for all sections (from Beavers to Explorers) to show their families what being a part of Scouting is all about.

Families are welcome to join us in the varying activities that take place throughout the weekend, with meals cooked on open fires, hot chocolates, campfire songs all taking place, along with activities (currently being planned – check back for more details).

It’s a fantastic event, and helps bring the best out in everyone who attends.

Please note that all parents who attend will need to have applied for a DBS check. DBS checks need to be applied for via Scouts specifically, as other DBS applications are not compatible. These can be arranged very easily, however – speak with your section leader to get the application form. Once approval has been achieved it lasts for 3 years. If you’re unsure, please check.

This event will cost £35 per person, but if any wants to attend but is struggling financially, please be aware that we have a wellbeing fund that might be able to help. Speak to your section leader for more information if you need help.
