Glider Flying
After being postponed twice due to poor weather, the Model Gliding event is now due to go ahead this weekend – 12th October.
On the day there will be a BBQ, you’ll get to play with a live Jet Engine, have a go on a glider (with twin controls, alongside an instructor), try out an RC Flight Simulator, a 3D aerodynamic designed fixed wing helicopter (?), hands on radio control learning to fly session, paper aeroplanes and a chuck glider contest!
Can you believe it, but all the above is totally FREE, as the Gliding Club will be putting it on for us.
