SOLD OUT – Bonfire Night – 2nd November
It’s a sell out! We’ve officially sold all the tickets now, so if you’re looking for tickets, you’re out of luck! Sorry!
It’s that time of year again when we’re planning to hold our annual Bonfire Party once again. It will be held at our headquarters, “The Hollies”, on Saturday 2nd November, from 6pm til 10pm. The fire will be lit at 6.30pm, with the firework display commencing at approximately 7.30pm.
Following positive feedback from last year’s event we will again be restricting numbers and therefore would advise you to purchase tickets in advance. Tickets are £6.00 per adult and £4.00 per child and will be available from the Scout hut on the following evenings between 1st to 31st October.
Following the success of the licensed bar last year, we will be putting on this facility again, and therefore we request you do not bring your own alcohol on to the premises. The bar will be sub, so please support us raising valuable funds for our Group. There will also be a tuck shop selling sweets and soft drinks together with a BBQ & chips to purchase on the night. We will be able to take both card and cash payments.
To keep everyone safe on the evening, NO sparklers will be allowed in to the event.
We will be holding a raffle on the evening and if anyone can help by donating raffle prizes, please pass them to your child’s section leader before Wednesday 30th October. Last year we had a homemade cake stall which was a great success and we would like to do it again this year. If any of you are budding bakers, please can you put your skills to work and donate some cakes to the stall on the day.
