Explorers – Model Gliding Event

This event has now happened, but you can take a peek at how it looked in the gallery.

Glider Flying

After being postponed twice due to poor weather, the Model Gliding event is now due to go ahead on the 12th October.

On the day there will be a BBQ, you’ll get to play with a live Jet Engine, have a go on a glider (with twin controls, alongside an instructor), try out an RC Flight Simulator, a 3D aerodynamic designed fixed wing helicopter (?), hands on radio control learning to fly session, paper aeroplanes and a chuck glider contest!

Can you believe it, but all the above is totally FREE, as the Gliding Club will be putting it on for us.
