Beavers

Beaver Scouts are our youngest members, and are between the ages of 6 – 8. They usually meet weekly to take part in a wide range of activities including games, crafts, singing, visits and good turns, along with plenty of outdoor activities.

They will also have the opportunity to take part in the fun and excitement of camps and sleepovers. It may be the first time they spend a night away from home so it’s a real adventure for them!

A group of Beaver Scouts is called a Colony, and each Colony can be split up into smaller groups called Lodges. Our Beaver Colony currently has 33 active members, and 5 leaders.

Meeting Date / Time:

Beavers meet in the Scout Hut at The Hollies on Tuesday evenings between 6:15pm – 7.30pm.

Subscriptions

At present our subscription fee is £15 per month by using Online Scout Manager, our handy website where you can set up payments as well as track your Beaver’s badge progress.
